Restaurant reopening bucks the trend of downsizing and restaurant closures

After a 10 month extensive remodel, Enotria Restaurant and Wine Bar (1431 Del Paso Blvd., Sacramento, CA) is opening its brand new wine bar this week with a soft opening, followed by a public opening on Tuesday, January 11, 2011.

The process gives a chance to fine tune the brand new state-of-the-art kitchen, train new staff and get accustomed to the new computer system used for recording orders. Enotria’s main dining room – which is still under construction – will open the first week in February, just in time for Valentine’s Day. A grand opening for both the wine bar and restaurant will be held in late February.

Located in the heart of Sacramento’s art district, otherwise known as “Uptown” Sacramento, Enotria’s new wine bar will serve both lunch and dinner. Hours of operation are Tuesday – Friday 11:30 a.m. – 10:30 p.m., Saturday 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. and Sunday 4:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

The new menu — offering unique creativity and seasonal ingredients — features small plates, flatbreads, pasta and sandwiches. The wine bar will be a more casual version of the restaurant, while offering the quality and creativity Enotria is known for. Executive Chef Anthony Brenes draws his style from a solid background in California cuisine with hints of Latin America and Mediterranean flavors.

In collaboration with Chad Seaburg, Enotria’s Wine Director, Anthony’s food is designed to pair with Chad’s wine selections and deliver Enotria’s promise of “Food made for wine made for food.”
