Vehicle Vandalism Spree in Antelope

Sheriff's seek assistance

Sacramento County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a series of vandalism incidents to vehicles throughout the Antelope area.

Shortly after 4:40a.m. today, deputies responded to a call in the 3900 block of Diane Drive, regarding a vehicle’s windows that had been smashed. Throughout the next hour, additional calls came in from residents living on surroundings streets in the area. Deputies discovered vehicles that had windows broken in the 3400 block of Davidson Drive, 8300 block of Northam Drive, and the 8000 block of Citron Court.

Further investigation in the area resulted in the discovery of dozens of additional victims of this same type of vandalism. It appears that the possible means to commit these vandalisms might have been with the use of BB or pellet guns.

While investigation into these incidents continues, deputies believe that the crimes were likely committed by the same individual(s). At this time, no suspect information is available.

Anyone with information regarding these vandalism incidents is encouraged to call the Sheriff’s Department at (916) 874-5115, Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP, or send a text message tip to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
