United States Attorney Benjamin B. Wagner announced that Justin Graham, 30, of Lincoln, pleaded guilty today to sharing child pornography over the Internet.

This case is the product of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Assistant United States Attorney Matthew G. Morris is prosecuting the case.

According to court documents, Graham was arrested on January 20, 2011 by the FBI after an undercover investigation into online distribution of child pornography over a file sharing network.

Graham is scheduled to be sentenced on May 25, 2012 by United States District Judge Garland E. Burrell Jr. Graham faces a maximum statutory penalty of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. The actual sentence, however, will be determined at the discretion of the court after consideration of any applicable statutory factors and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, which take into account a number of variables.

This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice.
