Rancho Cordova Police Seek Help Locating At-Risk Youth
The Rancho Cordova Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a teenage girl who is missing from her residence and family since earlier today. Fatima Scott, 16, was reportedly seen riding light rail in the area between 13th Street and 16th Street in Sacramento at approximately 7:30 p.m. She is considered to be at-risk due to a medical condition requiring medication that she is not in possession of.
Fatima Scott is a black female, 5’6” tall and weighing approximately 135 pounds. Her head has been shaved bald, but she wears a two-toned blonde and black wig, and has brown eyes. She is believed to be wearing a pink shirt and blue denim jeans.
Scott and her family have been staying at a motel in the 11200 block of Point East Drive in Rancho Cordova. Anyone with information regarding this missing juvenile is asked to immediately contact the Rancho Cordova Police Department at (916) 874-5115.

Sacramento Man Indicted on Enticement and Child Pornography Charges
A federal grand jury returned a three-count indictment today charging Eric G. Lowe, 34, of Sacramento, with attempted production of child pornography and attempted enticement of a minor, United States Attorney Benjamin B. Wagner announced. Lowe is scheduled for arraignment before U.S. Magistrate Judge Gregory G. Hollows at 2:00 p.m. today.

Yesterday's announcement by presumptive GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney that Rep. Paul Ryan will be his running mate has been met with a wide array of predictable responses. Depending on your perspective, the choice of Ryan was either a bold move that could push the GOP ticket to Pennsylvania Ave. or a hail-Mary pass thrown in an effort to revive in flagging milquetoast campaign.
