District Attorney Jan Scully announced that Adam Bill Ranlett was convicted by jury of child molestation with the use of force on two separate victims. 

Ranlett sexually assaulted a 7-year-old family member and a friend’s 12-year-old daughter. Deputy District Attorney Allison Dunham states, “Both victims bravely faced their abuser by testifying in this case and have ensured that he will never harm another child again.” 

Ranlett faces a possible sentence of 90 years to life in prison. Sentencing is set for October 4, 2013 in Department 29 before the Honorable Timothy Frawle
