South Sac Double Shooting Under Investigation By Sacramento Sheriff's Dept.

Sacramento County Sheriff's Department is investigating a double shooting that occurred just before midnight on Wednesday, September 21.
At approximately 11:45 p.m. Deputy Sheriffs were dispatched to the 7300 block of Florinda Way in South Sacramento regarding gunshots being fired. The caller further advised of two victims with gunshot wounds located at a residence.
Deputies responded to the scene and located two female victims inside a residence suffering from gunshot wounds. Deputies immediately began life saving measures. 
Sacramento Metro Fire responded and transported both victims to a local hospital. The victims are a 38 year old female who was shot in the upper body and is in critical condition with life threatening wounds and a 40 year old female victim who was shot in the lower body, and is in stable condition.
Witnesses state they heard several gunshots, and heard a vehicle speeding from the area. There is no suspect or vehicle description, and no known motive at this time. Detectives are on scene and beginning their investigation.
