No Drunk Driving Arrests Made by Stockton Police at DUI, Driver License Checkpoint



In what could be considered a victory of sorts against drunk driving, a DUI and drivers license checkpoint conducted by Stockton Police resulted in no impaired driving arrests.

The checkpoint, which was conducted from 6 p.m on Friday, July 7 until 2 am. on Saturday July 8 at Pacific Avenue and Robinhood Drive, screened 915 vehicles. 

No drivers were arrested for driving under of the influence. Two subjects were evaluated for DUI and found to be under the .08 legal limit. Aside from the DUI screenings, 17 citations were issued and 3 vehicles were impounded.
