Stockton, Tracy Police Believe Same Vehicle Involved in Two Shootings

Through investigative efforts, the Stockton Police Department and the Tracy Police Department believe the same vehicle were invloved in shooting in both jurisdictions. 
The City of Tracy shooting took place on June 18, 2017 at approximately 7:50 p.m. (see photo below) and the Stockton shooting incident, which involved with Stockton Police Officers, who were fired upon (above photo), on June 26, 2017 at approximately 11 p.m.
Investigators have identified the vehicle and believe the subjects in the vehicle are responsible for both incidents. Investigators are now seeking information from the public regarding the occupants of the vehicle during the Tracy and Stockton incidents.
The Stockton Police Department is encouraging citizens to call if they have information pertaining to this investigation. Callers are asked to call the Stockton Police Department at (209) 937-8377, the Investigations Unit at (209) 937-8323, or Crime Stoppers at (209) 946-0600. Callers can remain anonymous.
Citizens may also text information from their cell phones to ‘Crimes’ (274637) and type the keyword TIPSPD and then their tip or logon to the Stockton Police Department’s Facebook page and click ‘Submit A Tip’. Tipsters may also send tips on the Stockton PD Mobile Phone App. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
