Sacramento man arrested after being caught on social media video flattening tire on Stockton Police patrol car



A Sacramento man is in custody at the San Joaquin County Jail after he was caught on video tampering with a patrol car.

Just before 7 p.m. on Friday, July 28 Stockton Police responded to a call about a person tampering with one of their patrol cars at Weberstown Mall. The caller said the person was letting the air out of the tire.

Upon arrival, officers located a subject matching the description nearby. He was positively identified by multiple witnesses and a Facebook video which was uploaded shortly after the incident occurred. 

The tire was completely flattened and had to be changed. Luis Zavalza, 41, of Sacramento, was arrested for tampering with a vehicle and being under the influence of drugs/alcohol.
