Sacramento Sheriff deputies arrest suspect in life-threatening assault on customer, charged with attempted murder

A suspect has been taken into custody following a life-threatening assault. Sacramento County Sheriff deputies arrested Sean Timothy Warner, 38 of Rocklin according to social media information posted by the sheriff's department.

Just before 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, deputies responded to a welfare check on the 3800 block of Sandra Court in Sacramento. The check was prompted after a local business called the sheriff's department saying one of their employees told them that they had killed one of their customers.

Once inside the residence, deputies found a male victim in his 60s with injuries to his upper body.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. Warner is charged with attempted murder, is not eligible for bail and will be arraigned on Monday, July.

There is no known motive at this time for the assault.
