From the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department |

Late last night, the Sacramento Police Department located Cheriya and Aaron during a call for service in downtown Sacramento. Both children were safe and unharmed.
Cheriya and Aaron have been reunited with their custodial parent.

Reychel Dizon was not with the children when they were located by law enforcement. She is a suspect in this case and anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at (916) 874-5115.

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance from the public in locating two children who are the victims of a possible parental abduction.

The children, 6-year-old Cheriya Dizon and 10-year-old Aaron Safrans (see attached photo) were abducted by the biological mother, 34-year-old Reychel Dizon (picture below). It is believed the children were taken from Robert Fite Elementary School on Fite School Road in the Vintage Park area of unincorporated Sacramento County.

The mother does not have custody of the children and is currently homeless. Cheriya Dizon and Aaron Safrans are considered at-risk due to their ages.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of the missing juveniles or Reychel Dizon is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at (916) 874-5115.
