Galt Police apprehend four suspected of shoplifting Walmart, possession of stolen vehicle

Four suspects were arrested by Galt Police on multiple charges including shoplifting.  
On Sunday, August 4 just before 12:30 p.m. officers were dispatched to Walmart store on Twin CIties Road regarding four shoplifters. The reporting party provided a description of the four suspects, suspect vehicle description, and vehicle's license plate number.
The vehicle was reported stolen out of Stockton and responding officers located the vehicle near Highway 99 and Fairway Drive. A traffic stop was conducted and four occupants were placed under arrest.
The male driver was identified as Terron Latice Adams, 41, of Stockton. Adams is charged with vehicle theft, possession of a stolen vehicle, felon in possession of ammunition, possession of a billy club, commercial theft, conspiracy, and was found to have an outstanding felony warrant for a parole violation.
One of the female occupants was identified as Kevnisha Smith, 30, of Stockton. Smith is charged with commercial theft, conspiracy, and was also found to have an outstanding felony warrant for a parole violation.
Two other female occupants were arrested for commercial theft and conspiracy. Adams and Smith will be arraigned on Wednesday, August 6.
Three of the four subjects were booked at Sacramento County Main Jail. The other person was released on her own recognizance.
